Chao Phraya Express Passengers
People use the ferry to get to work and do their daily chores. The tourists if they are astute use it to go between many of Bangkok’s attractions because the street traffic in Bangkok, from 7.00 – 18.00, is unhealthy, and in a constant grid lock.

Chao Phraya Express
The boats in Bangkok are an efficient way to escape traffic jams. Express boats navigate on the Chao Phraya River, which crosses Bangkok from north to south. Passengers have to pay attention when they go on board or leave the boat, it can be slippery and sometimes dangerous. Sometimes the boat makes a touch-and-go only. A man whistles to indicate that passengers can board or leave.
